Got a NetWorker Win2K server with dual NICs. One NIC (the original) talks to clients inside the firewall. The other NIC (recently installed) talks to servers outside. Save Group for internal clients works fine. Save group for external clients starts but never moves forward and never reports any errors. Just hangs with all clients marked as Incomplete Save Sets

Another things is you may need to direct the clients to the second nic, they won't find it on their own.

each nic should have a hostname associated with it. In the client definition you need to select that interface's hostname in the "server network interface field". For this to work the hostname for the second interface will also have to be added to the servers cleint definition in the alias field. You may also need to define this in the host tables on each machine. On NT/W2K you may need to set up the admin GUI to display hidden attributes.

Is the second NIC also outside the firewall? If it is not you may also need to setup the firewall, backup server and clients to use certain ports on the firewall. See he admin guide on how to do this.
