Hello,

I am in the process of recovering data from a particular tape. I highlight the data I want to recover, but it is not selecting the correct tape. So, I go to View | Versions on the networker client and choose the correct volume which then changes to the correct browse window. I go back and select the files again, but it is still selecting the wrong tape.

I have run scanner -i -s SSID to recover the indexes, but no luck.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks......

It is not really clear what you do as you can not directly select a specific media from the NW User GUI.

By default, NW uses the media where the first (original) media. You can not select a specific media from the GUI.

If you really want to use a specific media, you must either ...
- set the original save set to 'suspect'
- use the command line to select a specific instance (clone id)
