Anyone know if there's a server version of networker for Solaris 8 on Intel? I'm interested in using this as a test platform to play around with before we go to a real Sparc system w/jukebox (read "expensive"). I've gotten the client to install (5.5.3) but nsrd errors out when I try to load the server portion: "/usr/sbin/nsrd: syntax error at line 1: `(' unexpected." Any ideas how I can get around this or of a version that works?

Last I knew, Legato was not releasing the server module for Solaris on the x86 anymore .. However, Sun offers a NetWorker backup program under it's own name ( I believe Sun co-developed NetWorker, and have an agreement with Legato).. I would talk to Sun and hit their website..

I've used it with earlier versions of Solaris x86 and it works fairly well...
