networker server 7.4.2 backup NW client 7.0

Hi

We are in a process of upgrade our networker server 7.3.2 to 7.4.2 , we have various versions of Networker client running in our environment (6.1.1.Build.238 to 7.4.2 ) . I would like to know , if we upgrade our networker server to 7.4.2 , will it still backup our client running on older version ?

Yes, always make sure the NetWorker Server version is newer or the same as the client and it will work fine. I am also backing up 6.x clients to a 7.4.2 servr without any issues.

I backup 7.4.2 linux clients with 7.3.3 aix server...

It works fine, too

It should work between all versions. Of course, only backward compatibility will be tested.
