I have no idea what is causing this message aside from the obvious SM. Any help will be appreciated.

NetWorker: RPC error, Unable to send
NetWorker: Send Chunk to MMD failed, Bad file number
Validating. 21843 Segmentation Fault
Review log /app01/Ibar/validate/ac_msg.vtb_shm.log
nsrmm: RPC error, Remote system error

Hi,
You are having Network problems, check the following :

The most common problems lies in negotiation mismatch when using different types of network cards and switches together, incompatibility issues with card drivers in negotiating with the switch port. Try to put nic and switch to Full Duplex, this normaly solves the problem.
