Power Monitor has to do only with
W2K, which introduces some a feature (ACPI) that puts the server into a sleep mode which could be bad for NetWorker so this service was introduced to keep waking up the
system. It is referred to in the Admin Guide, buried in Appendix B. Check there if you need more details.

Yes. As I recall that is the default and it should not be changed. Don't know what, if any, effect it would have if enabled, but I would leave it disabled.
