we have upgrade to to networker 7.4.3 - one of our hosts - a Windows 2000 server is failing to back up the systems files with the error

System Files - Unable to determine system boot file location. No system boot files saved
System Files - Error saving
39078:save: RPC error: RPC cannot encode arguments

7162:save: save of SYSTEM FILES:\ to dmbcs8 failed

We have checked the server - cannot find any issues - ran a chkdsk and rebooted server ok, but the backup still fails with the same error.

As it has run with a previous version, you might just run out of resources. From the Error Message Guide:

Some type of interference occurred during the transfer of data between the server and client. This interruption has prevented the remote procedure call (RPC) layer from encoding the argument that it was expecting. This interruption might occur when there is:
? A lack of resources on the server or client.
