Hi. I am having problems configuring Legato NetWorker 6.1 to completely backup our Exchange 20000 system. Before you say anything, we do have the Exchange Module.
The scheduled backups seems to be backing up most of the data, but we seem to always get a red stop hand in the group status. I assume this means something went wrong, but there are no messages that go along with it.
I did a manual test backup on the Information Store and the Private Mailboxes separately to see where the errors were coming from. The Info Store backed up completely, while the Private Mailboxes returned an error:
mapi.c(711):OpenMsgStore():0x8004011d: The attempt to logon to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has failed. (Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store)
sumain.c(952):begin_mb_backup() 0x8004011d
Could there be some sort of permissions errors here?
The Networker application and the client are both on the Exchange Server (I didnt configure this, so don't ask me why). Has anyone ever experienced problems with this?
