NetWorker 6.1.3 Client Error

Hello Everybody,

Does anybody know what this error indicates?

* snappy:/ /usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: acl (code) from /opt/networker/bin/save
* snappy:/ save: exited on signal 6
* snappy:/stand 1 retry attempted

The backup client is an HP-UX 11.00 Client. Our backup server is a Solaris 2.8 server running NetWorker 6.1.3 Server.

It means you have not patched your HPUX client with the latest patches. Once you do, the problem will disappear. Specifically:

PHCO_20765 libc cumulative patch
PHKL_19991 enables JFS acls and fixes the stat call problem.

However, PHKL_19991 has these dependancies.
