Networker 5.5 and Windows 2000

Hi,

We have Networker 5.5 running on Windows NT4, which runs fine. Will this version of Networker also backup Windows 2000 clients.

As far as i know you must have NW 5.7 at least.

You should really be looking at upgrading to 6 anyway, which covers both. 5.5 supports has ceased I believe.

Both 605 and Tdun are correct. Legato have now stopped support for all pre 6.x versions of NetWorker.

5.7 was written specifically for windows 2000 and that is the earliest version that was previously supported.

I would definately strongly recommend that you upgraded to 6.x asap.
