Is there a way to manipulate the system to enable a person at Site A to access the all-page at Site B?

I tried manipulating the inbound call route to look for 299, strip the digits, then add 799 but that doesn't work. Is there anyone who has been able to do this?

I have never done this and can't say it would work.....but, if I was going to try to do it I would use a calling group in site A. For the example I'll stick with x298 and x299.

In site A:
1. Build a routing pattern in the UDP (to be used for 298) to send it to switch B and strip 3 digits and insert 799.

2. Put 298 on the UDP table and when it ask for pattern use the pattern you created in step 1 above.

3. Pick a calling group that is not being used and put x298 as the only member. I would leave all the default settings alone for now.

4. Dial the calling group to see if it does the set all page in site B if it doesn't work then, I at least gave it a try.

However, if it does work.

5. Then renumber the default calling group to 299.
6. Label the calling group PGSITEB

Here is what I would try...Purchase this devise from Viking:

Plug in an Analog ext to the Line In, and an Analog ext to the Line out. Program the Dialer to dial 799. When u call the ext in the Line in, the second analog ext will dial 799, causing a group page..connect both stations together, enabling you to page through Page group 799.

Thanks for the responses. I am actually going to loop a line port from site B into an analog port site A. That way, they can access that line which will really give them intercom dailtone at Site A and dial 799.

I should have mentioned that the (2) systems are in the same building, just on different floors.
