I've setup a hunt group as follows:
Pointed a DDI to the pilot number of the hunt group

Hunt Group: 601
Hunt Group Mode: Circular
Hunt Group Name: Hotline
Class of Service - Day: 14
Class of Service - Night1: 14
Class of Service - Night2: 14
Home Element: America
Secondary Element: Not Assigned
First RAD:
Second RAD:
Night Answer RAD:
Hunt Group Priority: 64
Hunt Group Type: Voice
Phase Timer Ring:

The members are on 2 controllers, the home element, and another in the US. To add the users of the second element, I created speeddials to their extensions, and then added the speed dial.

I also managed to use the Ring group feature of overflowing to voicemail, by changing the call routing to point to a nametag hunt group with a mailbox of the same number to be able to deliver voicemail.

The HG works fine in that it will go around the hunt group, but is there a way of showing the name of the HG (Added HG into the Teldir via Opsman)on the display of the phone before the call is picked up, then show the callers CLI? Or to have a button programmed for that line that can be pressed to answer.

Just that I know the users want to be able to answer in a particular manner when calls from that hotline come in, and ideally i don't want to have to make them all ACD users.

To add the users of the second element, I created speeddials to their extensions, and then added the speed dial.

The quote above does not make sense to me. If Speeddials can be members of huntgroups, this is news to me.

How are these controllers networked? Simple ARS or Clustering or Other? Elaborate if other.

If the systems are clustered, have you considered using Extended Hunt Groups which are designed to function in the way you want?

The 3300's are clustered, so have cluster element ID's for each site.

When I tried programming with the digits for the remote site, 7xxx rang the hunt group pilot, it wouldn't ring that extension.

Created a speed dial 6xxx pointing to the 7xxx, added 6xxx to the hunt group and it worked a treat!

However if I created a ring group and put the 7xxx number in, that worked.

For Extended Hunt Groups, would I have to create the same HG on the other controller? Or put the pilot number on the remote switch as a member in the primary controller?

The Help Files are very good on this subject.
