Hi,
I have a Realtek 8029(as)PCI in slot 1.
Have recent installed Novell 3.12, have downloaded the realtek drivers for novell 3.12 (ethertsm.nlm, msm31x.nlm, nbi31x.nlm, pcisrv.lan) don't know what to do whit it.
QUESTION:
What and how must i install these files ?
How to install the realtek card ?
How do i know what adress, port and Int the card have?
I think i must do this: Load NE2000 FRAME=ETHERNET_802.3
but then I don't know what I/O port it must be and
wat supported Memory adress I must choose ?
When i try some it says: Module initialization Failed
and Module NE2000.lan NOT loaded..

Can someone tell me what to do Step bij step ?

Thanks in advance

gonzales

Copy the files to SYS:SYSTEM
make sure SYS is mounted and then you need the following lines to use your LAN card in the AUTOEXEC.NCF
load nbi31x
load msm31x
load ethertsm
load pcisrv.lan frame=ethernet_802.3
You may need to add further information to the last line e.g. slot=1.
