Hi

Is there any way that I can connect the USB ports of two PCs together, to run NETBEUI or TCP/IP network protocols between the two machines without using a USB Bridge? I am trying to avoid having to purchase a PCMCIA card (or a USB Bridge!) for one of the computers.

Regards
ROGER - GØAOZ.

You can't bind network protocols to a USB interface!! If you want network then you'll have to buy network cards. If you want to simple files transfers then you can do that with a serial laplink cable.

Hi Chris 13 Aug 2001

Thanks for your reply. I guess I'm back to a network card and a PCMCIA for the laptop, as I believe the USB Bridge doesn't support printing across a PC-to-PC USB connection. Just a thought anyway...

Cheers
ROGER.
