Network Time server

I have a customer that has a bCM and it will not keep the time, he was telling me about a network time server. Does anyone know how to do this?

Is it loosing time slowly or changing to any given time?
If any given time turn Auto Call info off.....this gets time from the caller based on Call ID and changes the system time to the callers time.

NTP. Network Time Protocol is a feature on BCM. It allows the BCM to update it's time from an external network device. I don't reccomend, do not use under any circumstances if you have RCC reporting.

Reporting for Contact Center. If your NTP server screws up, and I've seen it, now all your reports are toast. In my case, the NTP served up a time in the year 2020.

I've been using the time server pool at

http://www.pool.ntp.org/use.html

for years for almost everything with no issues.

The 3 server pools for the US are:
0.pool.ntp.org
1.pool.ntp.org
2.pool.ntp.org

Just add one of those addresses to the ntp server entry and give it a shot.

Let me make clear, my problems with NTP servers were local not out on the web.
