Network SV8100 and AltiGen?

I have a customer who's considering integrating their two PBXs -- an NEC SV8100 and an AltiGen. Both are fairly new.

Is it possible, using H.323 trunk (or less likely SIP) to network the two PBXs together?

No need to network voicemails, etc, just site to site trunking, and the ability to pull dialtone (ARS) from remote switches.
