network sound audio between 2 pc's

I'm looking to move audio from one pc "a Server" out to a few other PC's "clients" and i'm looking for an example of how to do so from a google search , i thought that there must have been someone that has already done this sort of thing before i have come to address it , maybe not !

I have googled vb6 sound , vb6 client server audio

but not had any success, any other search ideas that i should try ?

or directions i should look to head with the code ?

Do you want to stream it out or have the clients play an audio file on the disk in the server?

If the latter you need to be able to read the file in windows explorer on the client. It would look something like \\123.45.23.234\c\MyFolder\MyFile.mp3 and play it in the usual way on the client.
