Network software for voicemail 3

Have a KilostreamN link between two Option 11's (release 25. I'm in the process of purchasing Meridian Mail for one site Do I need voicemail networking software to carry Meridian Mail to the other Option 11?

You will need to have the NMS package (Network Message Service). Without NMS you will not be able to light your Message Waiting Lamps. You will also need to ensure your tie lines between both facilities are PRI.

You should as well not forget to set the PNI corrctly in both PBX´s

The PBX needs package 175 NMS, but you also need NMS in the Voice Mail System.

As for the connection between the Meridians, you need to set the PRI T1 up for SL1 protocol (MCDN).
