Hello All,
This is an odd one for us and any suggestions on this issue would be appreciated.
We have a facility with 15 cisco 7962 IP Phones running off a CM6.1 server based out of our central office. Users are experiencing network slowness as soon as the VLAN is enabled on the network. The site has a 3mb MPLS CKT that is running clean, has minimal traffic and is no where near full link utilization.
This site does have a unique configuration setup. All 15 phones have an appearance of their main number; all phones can have up to 15 calls on those lines. This allows them to "resume" an on hold call from any phone in the office. This setup eliminated the need for Call Park. I am wondering if this setup would cause any issues, network wise, once calls start coming into the main number. One incoming call * 15, 2 incoming calls * 15, 3 incoming calls * 15... Etc... Then once these are calls are placed on hold and the on hold music kicks on would this be considered 45 on hold resources if there are 3 calls on hold?
I am interested in hearing others thoughts on this issue. Any ideas please reply.
Thanks,
Han
