Network shortcuts in My Network Place are not working after updates

After running autopatcher 4.5 all the shortcuts in My Network Place give me this Error " The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'target.ink' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again"
the shortcuts work after trying a second time
but with the error still there.
Reinstalling the shortcuts do not fix the problem
I do not know which setting or update is causing this issue...it is happening in more than one computer
