hi @ll...

does anybody know if it's possible to backup from one network share to an other?
i found a patch for backup to disk and it works finde, but i need to backup from and to a network share.

I don't know your situation but wouldn't it be better to back the data up then restore? You could automate this with scripts.

Just an idea.

Backup to disk to a remote location like a preferred share cannot be done. IF your talking about locally attached arrays or even NAS where the volume appears as local then it may be possible, but definately through a netowork share cannot be done at this point in time.
