I am trying to connect 3 computers through a hub. I have a Main, Computer A, and Computer B. The hub is on the Main. From Main, I can see A, but not B. From A, I can see Main and B. From B, I can see A, but not Main. Main has software on it B needs access to. The three computers were previously networked together, but not since Main crashed and was replaced.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I assume all three are running Win 98.

Check that they are all running with the same workgroup name.

Check they all have the same network protocols installed.

Check they're in the same I.P. Address range, and that Mask and Gateway I.P.'s are the same.

For file sharing, check that relevant hard drives are shared.

Not quite sure I understand your statement "The hub is on the Main". I'd normally expect the hub to be, shall we say, central, with the three computers each cabled to an individual port on the hub. Is this your configuration?
