Network settings with MAC Address filter

Is there any settings that had to be done other than entering MAC addresses of the computers in the network to the Linksys' Settings Page?

If you entered the MAC addresses and configured the clients with the right SSID and encrytion (if any) they should be able to communicate with no problem.

Not to set up MAC filtering. Are you asking if this is all for security?
