Network scanning using spoofed addesses

Hi,

I'm trying to test the security of a serever on our domain, however my scanning cpu and server on on the same subnet.

I wanted to know if there is a way to spoof you IP in nessus? I am using windows version 3.0

This link seemed to have the answer

I also tried using nmap with this command:

nmap -sS -O -PO -e eth0 -s (spoofed ip here) (target ip)

with limited success.
