Hi,

i would like to know if there is a way to configure network redundancy with 2 NICs on a standalone server running hp-ux 11iv1.

Let's say one NIC is active and the other on is standby, if NIC one fails, then NIC two becomes active.

This is know as IPMP on Solaris, but i don't know if there is a way to do so on HP-UX.

Many thanks for your help.

The only way I know of is ServiceGuard ...

or, use a script.
