Have a busy doctor's office that has a program called "AM I ON".
They asked me if this program can interface with the partner system. I said probably not, but I will find out.

Basically, the client want to be able to have the nurse on duty call an 800 number and have the voicemail(Messaging 7.0) or phone system pick up and automatically contact the doctor on call using this program as reference on who to call and what number to dial.

has anyone run into something like this? ANy suggestions?

that would be a database lookup and the Partner system has no way of looking that up.
You could use a mailbox and have them change the dialout number for whoever is on call to call them but nothing automated.

A phone with RCF, and RCF buttons for each person who could be on call which is pressed when the person coming off being on call is done being on call. If they fprget to press the next persons button then they remain on call themselves. Then the VM can just transfer the call to the same ext. for on call person.
