Hey all,

I need some advice i'm having problem grasping this

we have a custom manufacturing program which runs on our terminal server, this program is not accessed via a network strictly through the terminal server it's hosted on.

the program is riddled with errors and data corruption. the developers insist that the problems are network related.

Is it possible for a program that's not accessed via a network, just terminal services to become corrupt via bad network cabling?

So the applications/database is running on a Terminal Server (NT4?) and is only accessed locally?

If the above is true, it would be incredibly unlikely this is the cause of your corruption.

Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

That's what i'm thinking.

it's a windows 2000 TS server, and there is no network connection to the server for data, just TS logins.

Through the program on a machine without a netwok card installed, if it screws up, I would like to hear the developers blame the network
