Network printing with P3

I just got a new pc with win 2000 I had nt 4 and P3 worked great. now I can not print to any network printer. I get a general printer error. it prints fine to the local printer. the pld pc showed I was printing to Ne01 this one does not say that in the printer box. I changed it to Ne01 useing regedit still no luck. any thoughts?

Try installing Service pack 3. This was designed to eliminate the printer problems with Win 2000.

Thanks for the thought but installing SP3 did not make any differance.

any more thoughts?

We try again.

Try first setting your desired printer as the default printer then print as usual.

Just curious. Is your Network printer setup with Network Drivers or local drivers? Setting up local drivers may help.
