Hi!

We have a HP LaserJet P1006 connected to a XP Pro computer via USB. We have that printer shared with two XP Pro other computers.

The issue we are running into is that when one of the networked computers sends a print job it seems to go no where. It looks like it has been sent on the networked computer but on the printer computer it is like the job is never sent. However, if we sent a windows test page from the printer computer, then everything will work fine.

As far as I can tell, there are no error messages. The print jobs just go into obilivion.

Any ideas on what is going on or how it can be fixed?

Did you try other drivers? PCL6? I would try different drivers and see the outcome. Download the latest online at hp.com.
