Then it just spits out the page with no error messages. The printer is a Lexmark Z23 Color Jetprinter. It's connected by USB to one PC running Windows 2000. From that machine (that it's connected directly to), it prints without problems. BUT...when I allow the Z23 to be shared on the network (Windows 2000 network) and add it to other PCs (all running Windows 2000) then try to print from any of these PCs, the problems start. From all these machines the printer quits after about the first 6 lines of the document (test page, word document, excel document...all the same). Any ideas?
A second question...I read a post in another thread that said something about it being impossible to print from a DOS program when the printer is attached by way of USB. Is this always true? No way around it?
