Hi Neil,

I would highly suggest that you take the CompTIA Network+ exam. It is an industry accepted entry-level certification. It serves as a good metric of your networking knowledge. I might suggest that you pick up a couple of other study guides to augment your current curriculum. Here's a couple of links...
