I have ONE networked PC that keeps trying to connect with remote instead of Online. The user isn't very savy and maybe a little paranoid because it gives the error message access denied. I change the mode to Online and it works perfectly. As soon as she gets out of Groupwise and back in the same thing happens. Is there a way to save this mode? Or do I just need to reinstall the workstation??

THANKS!

take a look at the icon your user is using. it may have a switch causing this. If not, use these switches;

/ipa-10.0.0.0 /ipp-1677

Set it to the ip address of your POA, 1677 is the default port if you have not changed it.

You can also use /@u-username for a specific user or /@u-? to force the system to ask for the user ID no matter who is loged into the computer (default reads the logged in user ID). Brent Schmidt CNE,Network + [atom]
