I have a network of about 10 computers and I have 2 that don't seem to want to talk to each other. I get "network path was not found". Every other computer on the network can talk to each other and can talk to my 2 delinquints.
I am trying 2 things (neither work):
1) to add a network place. (Not the end goal, but demonstrates connectivity)
2) connect to an SQL server via the admin tool Data Sources (ODBC) - Both machines have SQL Server 2005 that holds different data. I've tried TCP/IP and named pipes.
I'm pretty sure it's not a general setting or hardware problem, because the other computers on the network can talk to the trouble makers.
I'm using Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
Thanks!
