Network or dialup problems with Published Apps

I can't logon to any of my Published applications from certain PCs (W2K).
The clients can see my Citrix Farm and the application icons but when attempting to connect I get the following error Msg:
"Network or dialup problems are preventing communication with the Citrix Server..An attempt to automatically restore the connection will begin after a delay to let you network recover. If the problem persists, please contact your network administrator."

This is the case on most but not all clients. The Citrix Server is on a remote WAN.As All the clients can connect to the Server to get the published application icons, what it preventing them from connecting to the applications?

How are they connecting ? client with Dialup (PPP), or NFuse ? What kind of farm ? (Win2k or Winn4, MF XP or MF 1.8).

Normally, if the client gets the proper IP address and they can reach the server, it should work then. Unless the line gets dropped which means that you have to check the WAN line settings.

have you multiple servers in this farm ? If so

Are they all the same version of citrix ?
Have you std network issues between these servers ? (connectivity, packet loss, latency etc)

R u using the latest version of the Citrix client ?

Thanks for your assistance, I worked out the problem.
I have a MF XP on Win2k with a single farm

What had happened was the Temporary MS Terminal Licence expired after 90 days. As I had not registered the MS Server with Microsoft, the MS Term License Server was not able to issue my ICA clients with a new license. I was under the impression that my clients did not require a MS Terminal Server licence and therefore did not bother with registering the Server with Microsoft.
It turns out that although you don't need to purchase a MS Terminal Server licence for XP and W2000 clients you still need to activate the MS Terminal licence Server. In order to active the Terminal license Server it must be registered with Microsoft. During the registering process, you are asked for a MS license pack, but this is not required if using XP or W2000 clients. Once registered the Terminal License Server issues licences from an unlimited pool.
As my clients initially connected to the Citrix Server at different times only some of them exceeded the 90 days limit on the temporary licence.
I'm misappointed that the "Error Msg" did not help identify this issue for the start.

Regards,
Lionel
