Not so much network but our Internet connection.

I'd like it to monitor the connection between out cable modem and firewall so it picks up all network traffic. I like it to store the information in a database for historical tracking and be able to break down the individual application/ports or both using the connection.

Not so bothered about individual users or ip addresses but won’t discount it if it does.

I’ve got several PIII 800 that I can use if they’re beefy enough.

This is just to collect enough information about how our Internet connection is used.

Does anyone know of any software that could do that and make pretty graphs for management to understand?

Thanks

Robert Aitken
