I am trying to load balance between 2 NICs on the same machine. I want to have one NIC dedicated to incoming traffic and the othe for outgoing. Any ways to do this. I think there is a way using NLB but not sure. This all has to do with WIndows Media Services 9. I want to pull the encoder traffic on one NIC and strean outward on the other NIC, because we are experiencing heavy buffering and drops on the listener side.

Thanks, any help is much appreciated.

Probably a bit lon since the post but anyway. If you have Intel or Broadcom NIC's you can download their management software and 'team' your adaptors. This allows 2 NICs to present one virtual IP address to the network. YOu can either have them in failover configuration or Load Balancing mode as you requested. NLB within WIndows is too elaborate for what you want and requires 2003 enterprise anyway. Look at INtels or Broadcoms site for more info.
