Hello,
I have three DC's across my W2K3 AD WAN. Two DC's are in one location (location A), the other DC is four miles away at location B.
My clients at location B are configured in
AD to go to the DC at location B first, and if this fails, the primary up at location A. These DC's also serve as DNS/WINS/DHCP servers as well.
I just noticed for the second time that when either one of the DC's in location A go down we lose all connectivity from the PC's at location B to the network - even if the DC at location B is up. Authentication fails as well as session connectivity to resources at location A. As soon as the third DC comes up everything is fine. Why is this?
Thank you in advance for any help.
