Network folder access gone while logged on?

for no reason when logged onto the company network i was no longer able to access public folders, it asked for the logon password again and repeatedly said incorrect. Also the connection status icon became ghost like.
Anyone know what could have caused this?

Hello,

You should contact your technical support people, it sounds like you have an issue with your password on the domain. While you are able to login, your username or password are not being recoginzed by server that is sharing out the network drives you are attempting to access. They should be able to correct this issue
