network failure on Solaris 8

I have installed Solaris 8 on 420R , When I am using SE Toolkit to monitor the network, I found the following error messages. Please help me how to solve the problem.

7.46 % is a high collision ratio.

Sounds like you may have a problem with your network card or the network is too busy or network card is not fast enough (10 MBS instead of 200 or more).

Try another network card if you have one.

You can use snoop to look at the packets you are receiving, see if they are valid packets.

Thanks you very much for your help. The same Network card was worked fine on 2.6, there is no trafic, no users are connected. I have used ndd commnad to tune the TCP , even I am getting same report. If you have any idea, Please give a reply.
