I was on a customer site trying to resolve their voip phones, every 20 past the hour their network drops for a brief moment (witnessed with a continuous ping) its only a few seconds of drop, but it causes phones to lock and restart.
Data network doesnt appear to be affected.
They have a 100mb fibre leased line and have a cisco 3925 router as main gateway, and data is using one of the usable IP on a watchgaurd firewall
Phones are using another usable IP on a USG router.
We suspect its possibly a IP conflict causing the USG to disconnect. We have swapped patch leads, and restarted the USG, but it is always 20 past the hour and the USG disconnects momentarily.
Does any one have any thoughts on why it only affects one device and not the other, and what to look for?
