Hi everyone!
I'm developing a webpage and want to show a network diagram on it. I have a mssql-table with all of the objects in the network. There is two important columns, "id" of the object and "parent" (showing which object this object is connected to).

What possible technics are there to accomplish this?
Please let me know if you need more/detailed information!

Best Regards,
Magnus

you can dispaly it in a heirachy format like explorer does with the folders but do it in HTML
start off at the top level where all parentids are null and then work your way down from their finding all children for the top level. You should then theoretically end up with the tree. How you lay it probably depends on how many nodes there are etc

on error goto hell
