Network device processor vs. trunk bandwidth.

Which one is more important the processor speed of a network device (router, switch etc.) or trunk bandwidth?
 
The Fast Ethernet standards are pretty strict about the maximum latency introduced by switches, routers, etc.. I am sure some are faster than others, but they are pretty darn fast in general.

Now collision domains, and controlling ARP storms is another kettle of fish.

I vote bandwidth.
