Hi,

I have recently passed my ccna, and am just about to undertake my first network project (Not through work, more on a personal level), however, one thing not covered in the ccna is how to document the design. I can go off the basics of the TCS in the ccna, but surely proper documentation for a real network would cover extras like Health and safety etc.
Could some one please help me with compiling a list of 'required items' to include in my documentation. The network is very small, spanning only one floor, no WAN involved.

thanks in advance
Wazz

There is a section on writing a design document in the CCDA book. It is a comprehensive guide from a technical as well as studying the human elements (ie. user needs and political needs).
