Hi Experts,
I am about to embank on a project where i need to design a LAN for a site, and i was wondering if anyone has a network design document template that they wouldn't mind sharing? I basically need to gather the equipment requirement and the racks e.t.c and put it in a presentable document for presentation. Thank you in advance.

Can be easily done in Visio.

Here is one I did for a live demo/test network at my office (may be more than what you need but will give you an idea):

I don't think alawode is asking for what program to use, but a template.
Alawode---how many users, etc? You will also need to get info like firewall or router at the edge, vlans, etc.---what exactly ARE you asking?

Drew---are the L2 switches 2960's by chance? If so, was this NW labbed, and do you like the 2960's as access layer switches?

Burt, they are 2950's. Not sure what mean you by NW labbed?

Network labbed, as in did you ever set this up in a lab. But nevermind---I see "live demo", missed it...
