Verizon has instal a smart jack next to their demark. Our computer network is on the other side of the building. We have a 25pr cable in our network room connected to Verizon demark. How to extend our network dtat circuit?

What does the "smart jack" provide? Is it DSL, T1 or something else? If it's DSL or T1 you should have no problem.

It is a t1 circuit... How do I wire the jack?

You would need to place a plug on the end of your cable to the smartjack. The pinout would be 1,2,4,5. then punch your cable down (w/b/, b/w, w/o, o/w) on the tie cable between the closets. I normally use a 2 pair sheilded cable to do this. Then repeat this on the other end.

beybros to relocate your t1 circuit is ok but you said you
have a 25pr cable in your network room depending on what you
have working on that 25pr cable is another issue if the cable is not load down with voice and other type of circuits
check to see whats on that cable because t1 circuit is a high cap line can cause noise on other lines in 25pr check
the last binder meaning the last five pairs spare use them
try to stay at five pair away from the other working circuits you only need two pairs

Hey strmwalker, are the shift, comma and period keys not working on your keyboard? Looks like your enter key has a problem too. Geeze!
