Hi
I need to buy a network copier (a copier that can also be used like a printer) for a small not-for-profit. They frequently print runs of 30-50 manuals (each manual has ~80 pages). They need output to be collated, stapling would be nice. They want an automatic document feeder, and they need a large (1500-2000 sheet) input tray, as well as several other trays. Oh, and this needs to cost between $1,000 and $2,000.
I looked for, and didn't find, a place where these mid-size network copiers are reviewed. So, I checked the Canon, Xerox, and Panasonic web sites, and saw that the features requested cost far more than the budget. So, I strolled over to eBay, and found a number of attractive options (mostly units coming off of lease).
Any thoughts on all of this? I'm open to specific network copier recommendations, manufacturer recommendations, buying a used copier, etc.
Thanks!
