We are running SBS 2003, about 20 users. We are having a problem that the users seem to disconnect and reconnect frequently. In the event viewer I have ove 181,000 events under security. Event ids' 538,540,576,673,680. I am stumped. any ideas? thanks

Why, they're logging on and off; silly users. But then again, isn't that what users do?

538s and 540s are normal if you are auditing logon/logoff events. Looks like you're auditing use of rights too, 576. 673 , yup logon/logoff - normaol. In fact I'd say that the issue is that you need to review exactly what it is that you intend to/are required to audit, then set your auditing at an appropriate level.
