Network Connections

We have three netware 5.1 servers which all work correctly when workstations authenticate to NDS.

The problem is with Arcserve. Only NDS and the server on which Arcserve is loaded appears in network connections.

When I try to backup the other servers the I am informed that Arcserve could not sign onto the server that I am backing up.

The software is

Nw5.1 sp1
NDS 8.59
Arcserve 6.6

Any help would be appreciated.

Run testnlm.nlm in the arcserve utility directory. This will test the login into the remote server.

If the login fails, and you are running only the IP protocol, try loading IPX. This isn't the best solution but it should fix the login problem to the server.
