hi,
there is a small problem with my internet and network connection.
I work at an institute and from home. So I have to connect my laptop to the institute network. so i go to properties of my connection and change the ip and subnet and gateway etc etc... so it connects to that network. then when i come back to my hostel, and plug in the lan cable, it fails to connect to the internet (this is obvious, as the ip and bla bla bla... of my hostel network are different). so i want to have a new connection.. so that i have 2 connections... so that i enable one and disable the other when i switch networks from my institute to hostel and the other way round... but there is no facility to do this in Windows Vista (or there is and i am not getting it)
Please Help!

Maybe you can do something with one of the automatic script generating programs mentioned here?

See if you can do anything with the Route Command. Route /? at a Command
Prompt will give you the Syntax.

This mentions a program called NetSwitch.
