My sparc server has solaris 8 operating system & one network card by default (hme0). For the routing & firewall purposes I hv to install another network card. From where I can get a list about which Network cards are supported by my server so that I can purchase one. And what would be the name of my network card. I want to install the same without reinstalling my SunOS. Please suggest.

Thanks

There are two major "flavors" of Ethernet cards on Suns. SBus and PCI, the first thing you need to know is "Do I have SBus slots or PCI slots?" The one thing you can't give for your heart's desire is your heart. - Lois McMaster Bujold
